Your handwriting, your font

You keep every right to your handwriting and to the font made from it. You let us process your photos only to make and deliver your font. Only upload handwriting you have the right to use: your own, or that of someone who agreed (or whose family agrees).

Buying a font

Making and trying fonts is free. Downloading a font costs $9 (plus any tax), once, per font. Your order is processed by Polar as reseller and merchant of record, on its terms. The font is delivered right away as a download you can repeat, and adding letters to it later is free.

Using your font

Once bought, you may use your font for anything, personal or commercial, and share it with the people you made it for.

Fair use of the service

Don't use GetYourFont to break the law or others' rights, to attack or overload it, or to get around its limits. We may limit or refuse service to protect it.

No guarantees beyond the law

We work hard to make good fonts, but results depend on the handwriting and the photos. The service is provided as is, as far as the law allows; nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above says when. Purchases already made stay under the terms of their day.
